There are no limits to the number of photos & video featured on your horse's page. However, as we subscribe to the "less is more" theory of promotion, we will use only those we believe truly enhance your horse's campaign, not just add to it.

For best results we recommend submitting video in it's native format as we use professional encoding tools to condense the file to appropriate web sizes while maintaining as much of the quality as possible. Our preferred video file format is .MP4.

Quality photos are crucial to the success of your horse's campaign, and investment in professional photography always pays off. Action photos produce better results than non-action photos, though pretty head & conformation shots are always welcome additions.

IMPORTANT:
You assume responsibility for obtaining usage rights for all photos submitted to The Exchange upon agreeing to our Service Contract.

All professional photos must be cleared for use in "Sale Horse Advertising". We will not be held responsible if you fail to do this and the photo is used illegally in our advertising.

  • If you are uncertain whether your photo/s are cleared for use simply contact the photographer and inquire whether a release for "sale horse advertising" was included in your photo purchase or requires an additional fee.
  • We require at least one high resolution photograph (200+dpi, 4"x6") for use in print advertising.
  • Low resolution/web photos (72 dpi) must be a minimum of 400px x 400px for use.
  • Be sure to include photographer's name for credit!
