Henk won two over fences and several other good ribbons to take top Tricolors in the Childrens Hunter, Older Section at Raleigh Winter Indoor II. He was also first in the THIS National Childrens Medal and 3rd in the NCHJA Medal - great show for his first start of the season. Seller is considering sending Henk to either Ocala or WEF for trials, contact us or Seller if this option interests you.

New video posted of Large Pony Baby Phat under saddle

Just received video of Baby Phat hacking around the indoor at home. This is a great addition to the media in that it shows the pony moving out nicely on a loose rein and without the interference of jumps, which always makes it difficult to evaluate movement. She has a big, attractive step and a nice long frame with a slow rhythm. She is more of a floater type than a daisy cutter, but makes for a very nice picture that should ribbon well under saddle in most company. The same freedom in her shoulder that allows for that floating look also helps her make the 3' lines quietly!

Mr. Max, Max, Maxwell- this one is a people pleaser to the core. Has one of those big fluffy forelocks that I just adore. Fortunately, we had a lot of help from Kim's dog Lincoln in this shoot as Max wasn't all that concerned with "pretty ears", even though my assistant was jumping around like a mexican bean, throwing rocks, and just generally acting like a fool off camera. Max is know around the barn for being "all business" and I dare say this horse was at best bored with, and at worst openly embarassed by our ridiculous ear-pricking antics.

Ashton, the star of previous photo shoots, unfortunately has to keep dealing with less than stellar horse show backgrounds. Never-the-less he once again came out with some amazing head shots here. And I love the kinda scruffy schooling shot of him trotting on the buckle . . . remove Kim and insert 12 year old child for perfection. I kid you not it was MISERABLE in Wellington that day, 25-35 mph winds, nutso horses everywhere, and Kim just popped on Ash with zero prep to show him to an interested party we had in tow. Pretty much jumped around just like he's trotting, no contact, no fess, no hesitation, not a care in the world!

Varsity, aka Viper, is also known around the barn as "Petunia", which is by far the most fitting of his many names. This. Horse. Is. A. Doll. And so is his mom. We had a blast visiting with this pair throughout the week, watching mom get over show ring anxieties while Petunia just kept packing along. We even got to see mom's once-a-year Mega Miss, and Viper couldn't have cared less. Really enjoyed working with this horse, would love to see a young rider take him, he will be fantastic with a kid.

If only I was capable of getting my camera settings right I'd have 5 additional awesome pics of this horse jumping in this album. As it is Pav jumped every single fence equally great, and I only managed to catch one in any type of clarity. He was also a lovely model at Littlewood, where the drab backdrop essentially killed half my photos.

This quiet, easy-going guy was a pleasure to watch show. He pretty much shows up and goes in whatever works easiest for his owner's and trainer's schedule. He's done the AAs and Mod. Adults so far at WEF, which we've all decided doesn't do his style justice, so I believe he will be back in the AO rings soon and might even go for some rounds in the Second Years. Very sweet, go with the flow type, and very much adored by his current mom.

Large Pony Hunter Dream Time Beau didn't waste much time qualifying for 2010 Pony Finals! Winning both the model and under saddle he took home the division Tricolors and returned to win the NEHJ Pony Hunter Classic.
