Beautiful, scopey, experienced in all 3 rings & highly competitive in each. In 2012, Aston was 17th of 51 in the $250,000 HITS Hunter Prix Finals & Adult Equitation Circuit Champion in Ocala. He has Jr/AO Jumper prizes in huge WEF company, 7/8 y.o. Young Jumper ribbons from the Hampton Classic, and good placings all the way to 1.40m. He is a veteran show horse and can take a rider from 2’6” Hunters through 1.30m Jumpers with 3’6” Equitation wins along the way.

Aston loves to horse show. He has a big presence, a soft round jump that is easy to stay with, and great markings that stand out in the ring. He will go on a loose rein for the Hunters or frame up beautifully for the Equitation. Aston has the patience to teach a junior, the finesse to cover up the mistakes of a weekend warrior, and the talent to show off a serious Medal & Derby rider. He has a fantastic work ethic and an outstanding record of experience.

Aston was imported in 2007 and has a December birthday. He is currently ridden only by an amateur but, like most show horses, can benefit from weekly or occasional tune-ups. Aston is happy to take his turnout in a paddock, on a walker, or during a quick spin on the lunge. He enjoys traveling to new places, prefers to conserve his energy for the job, and does not need professional riding or much schooling at the shows.
