Sweet and versatile pony for beginning riders. Happy to pack around crossbars, great for Childrens Pony divisions, and lots of fun for a competitive start in novice jumper classes. Also has experience schooling Cross Country, has no problem crossing water, and has received scores of 65% and 67.6% in Dressage.

Eirinn is a good mover with a very cute jump. She quickly adapts to her rider’s level of ability and goes equally well for novices or more advanced riders. She has a wonderful rhythm, a cute expression and a very pleasing style. Eirinn has changes, is an honest jumper, and is patient with mistakes. She is safe and steady inside the ring and out of it. In addition to being a competitive Hunter pony, she is an excellent partner for riders involved in Pony Club or Eventing.

Eirinn's record with her young owner began with a 2008 Gold Medal in Crossbar Hunters, and most recently added wins out of 20 & 25 entries (horses and ponies) in the 2'6" Jumpers. She also earned a Bronze Medal for 2009 points in 2' & 2'3" Hunter divisions. Eirinn is gentle, relaxed, and easy for children to handle. She is not mare-ish or pony-ish at all, and was invited to perform as an example of the versatility and reliability of the Connemara breed at Spruce Meadows. Low maintenance and an easy keeper that can live out in a group if necessary.
