2011 USEF National & Zone Reserve Champion Large Green Pony Hunter and 9th out of 74 entries under saddle at Pony Finals. “Gus” is a stunning mover and a top ribbon winner anywhere. He also has a great record in the Childrens Ponies and was Reserve Champion Zone 7 in 2010. He is qualified for 2012 Finals in the Larges and is quite the fancy partner for riders beginning to show seriously.
Gus is well-schooled on the flat, easy to put together, and, with nearly two dozen hack wins on record, proven to stand out as a winner. He is correct and smooth over fences and jumps with a great front end. Gus has lead changes and is a simple steer-&-kick ride. He is soft and easy for young riders to stay with and has plenty of patience for their mistakes. Gus is quietly confident and very well-mannered. He is a dependable and consistent pony that shows with minimal prep or lunge.
Gus is a charming gentleman with a simple outlook on life. He smiles for attention and is the same happy pony every day. Gus is turned out daily just to chill and relax, and generally needs very little tuning or oversight. He is available for yearly lease, or for sale to a great situation. Gus has been with the Seller since age 3.
