Kenney spent 2017 winning hunter & equitation classes for a variety of kids & adults. He was Champion Adult Hunter at Fieldstone & Head of the Bay, and pinned very well in huge hunter company at Lake Placid. He packed a young rider around 3’ equitation courses with fully automatic lead changes, and showed like a seasoned medal horse in the 3’3” equitation with another. He has a beautiful mouth, a great education on the flat, and a stunning presence in the show ring. He also has a great sense of humor and does not mind taking care of his rider. He has plenty of 3’6” scope and National Derby potential, and is ready for a competitive move up in 2018.

Everyone adores Kenney, his wonderful brain, and his puppy dog personality; even the barn parents bring him treats and hang out in his stall. He is quiet, not spooky, and easy to deal with whether showing, riding, or handling. He trail rides well and is trusted to hack around with young children at home. He is fancy enough for 3’6” hunter, derby & equitation goals yet kind enough to teach a Ch/AA rider the ropes, and will happily show up to win either way.
