| Latest Updates: |
| 8.23.10: Results Updated - We had some catching up to do on Tempo's summer show success: He's been competing with an adult and doing quite well! They were Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateurs at MidSummer Classic III, and moved up to the 3'3" last week at Rocky Mountain Classic I, where they were Champion of the Modified Jr/Am division. They've also won 2 of 3 Greenhawk Medals entered (placing 2nd in the 3rd), won several classes together in the Adult Equitation divisions, and placed 4th of 27 in the Glen McIlvride Memorial Classic! |
|
Versatile and stylish warmblood that has competed successfully with a junior since imported in 2008. "Tempo" has his permanent card as a Small plus Junior Hunter ribbons from the Oaks. He has a consistent show record that includes placings in Medal Finals and top ribbons in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation. He presents a great opportunity for new show riders that have goals in the Eq and Medals.
Tempo is a good mover and very attractive across the ground. He has a light way of going, an easy to find rhythm, and plenty of step for 3'6" lines. He has a stylish, correct and clean jump that's smooth for Equitation and well-rewarded in the Hunter ring. Tempo will handle the missed distance and can safely negotiate trouble. He is nicely tuned to the aids and shows off his rideability with precision and timing on course. He has changes, counter-counter and a strong background of flatwork schooling. Tempo is easy to show, has no peek to the jumps, and has shown himself to be a dependably versatile member of the show team.
Tempo has the ability to step up to the needs of an educated rider, or play babysitter to a green one. At any level he is equally competitive in any ring and shines as an upper level Equitation partner. He is well-mannered, honest and tolerant, and suitable for riders moving up to 3' or 3'6".
