Fancy moving youngster brought along carefully for a long and successful career. Ellington earned good Devon prizes on the line and showed only lightly as a late 5 year old in 2012. He has tricolors in 2’6” Young Hunter classes with an amateur up and is eligible 3’ Pre-Greens for 2013. He is a quiet, honest and well-behaved prospect suitable for experienced jr/ams working with professional help.

Ellington inherited his sire Escapade’s stunning good looks, flashy color and exceptional flat-kneed movement. He is sure to stand out in company and will be a top contender under saddle. Ellington is brave and honest to the fences and jumps with a great front end. He is well-broke on the flat, does his changes, and has the scope and step for 3’6”. Ellington is smart, has a good work ethic, and learns quickly. He is a very steady and consistent young horse.

Ellington’s kind demeanor and good brain make him ideal for jr/ams that want to bring along their own Ch/AA-Jr/AO Hunter. He is very affectionate and easy to handle. Ellington is currently in a basic program of consistent exercise and one lesson per week. He receives daily turnout when weather permits.
