Darling Small Pony for riders starting out in the rated divisions. “Shadow” was 3rd in the very competitive 2011 VHSA Pony Medal Finals, and won the 2010 WIHS Regional Pony Championship at the Verizon Center in downtown Washington DC. She also has Small Pony wins at Culpeper, Warrenton and the Virginia Intermont Classic. Shadow knows and loves her job and is stylish enough to show in company.
Shadow has a great rhythm and jump and is easy to get going. She is very reliable to the fences and will jump around anywhere while taking care of her rider. Shadow is easy to show and her young owner hacks in the morning and gets her to the ring all by herself. She will adapt to any program and is an all-around pleasure to have in the barn. Shadow is a great kids-type that rides on trails and goes swimming when not showing. She is smooth over fences and can do the Short Stirrup but is best suited for riders getting serious about the pony divisions.
