Top-of-the-line Medium Pony Hunter with an extensive record of success that began in 2005, where he placed 4th out of 24 quality 2 year old ponies at Devon. He was Zone 1 Champion Green Pony Hunter in 2009 and is currently ranked among the Top 20 Medium Pony Hunters nationwide, with over 3400 points towards Indoors. "Spec" competed at Devon in 2010 and is qualified for Pony Finals. He is successful both indoors and out and is managed entirely by his young owner.

Spec is a beautiful model. He was Top 15 in the Model at Pony Finals and almost always moves up in the conformation classes. He's a good mover that gained early show experience winning hacks in the Young Pony classes, and he placed 17th under saddle out of 64 Green Ponies at Finals. Spec always wears his ears and maintains a bright and happy expression. He is honest, straightforward, and jumps in consistently good style. Spec has plenty of step, walks the lines, and has auto-changes. He is dependable and brave in the show ring with a willingness to jump around anywhere.

Under proper supervision this pony has been successfully brought along by a junior since he was 4 years old. His casual program consists of 3-4 rides per week, daily turnout, and minimal professional handling. Spec's owners manage all clipping, trailering and horse show prep on their own, and he's a delightful partner for young riders to learn true horsemanship from. Spec is kind and good-brained with a big personality. He is the barn favorite and very sadly outgrown. He will suit any quiet young rider that wants not only success in the show ring, but also the friendship of a well-mannered, easy to handle pony.
