Rumi’s done a bit of everything & always with a kind eye, darling expression, and heroic effort as needed. He’s fantastic in the derbies, a showstopper in the equitation, and too pretty to ignore in the hunters. He had great results in the CET Medal this summer, as well as an outstanding go in a 1.10m Jumper Derby (banks & all!) in a ring he’d never seen, and a lovely round in the $25k Ride for the Roses 3’6 Hunter Derby. He’s truly up for everything and, as such, has never specialized in anything. He has all the buttons & more than enough scope, jumps all the jumps & has a stunning lead change, and just needs polishing for whatever job you want him to do. He’s a world class contender for the hopeful equitation rider or could jump the moon for an amateur in the International Derbys. With his snow-white coat, fairytale canter & easy management, he could also be a 2’6” winner for the hands-off client that likes them pretty.
Rumi is offered for sale along with Karl & Blizzard as seller seeks to downsize & move these guys into great homes where they will thrive. Both the pandemic and long border closure (through Fall 2021) impacted show schedules & sale opportunities for these horses, but they’re back in the ring & fit to win. Seller is reasonably negotiable to a great situation.
