Milo is the go-to jr/am horse every trainer wants in the barn. He is easy and versatile and capable of doing whatever job needs to be done; from 2’6”-3’6” and in all the hunter, derby and equitation rings. He has been successful for both juniors and amateurs, including recent 3’3” Junior Hunter tricolors with a 12 y.o. catch rider; a 6th in the National Hunter Derby this year at Keswick; and a history of top Adult Hunter, Adult Equitation, & 3’3” AO Hunter ribbons in company. He has a big step, auto-changes, and a beautiful jump. He accepts the leg and goes forward easily but does not get strong in the bridle. He is very adjustable, easily goes from hunters to equitation, and carries a nice natural rhythm on his own. He gets minimal professional riding or assistance at shows, and is also kind enough for a 2’6” rider if some is provided. At home he is turned out daily when weather allows and rarely ridden by professionals. He is well-mannered and easy for anyone to handle, and has a goofy personality that everyone enjoys.
