Imported late summer of 2016, Cooper has amassed a number of clear rounds & wins in the 1.30m & 1.35m classes, and recently ribboned in the $25,000 1.40m Open Speed at HITS Balmoral. He has a great mind for jr/am riders moving up and tremendous potential for a pro to develop in the Grand Prix classes. He is a naturally confident and relaxed horse yet still very careful at the jumps, and he always gives his best effort in the show ring. He is consistent and competitive and a true partner to his rider. He is also soft, rideable, and very well-broke, and could double beautifully in the 3’6” Medals & Talent Search.

Cooper is reliable in every situation and always a pleasure to work with. He gets a light hack to loosen up at shows but does not require it and can go straight into the ring if needed. He goes well for many different riders and shines for those with correct leg-to-hand technique. He is well-mannered and well-behaved and previously had an amateur doing the majority of his training and showing. His program focuses largely on quality flatwork, and is supplemented by gymnastics and course work as needed.
