Leggs is a gorgeous partner for juniors or amateurs competing up to 3’/3’3”. He showed the 1.0m Medals in 2022, finishing 2nd in the Eclipse Medal Final at Royal West, and doubled competitively in the jumpers. He is brave to the fences, makes the lines easily, and jumps plenty cute for the hunters. He also knows all the flatwork including counter-canter and wants to be a good boy at all times. Leggs would be great for a rising equitation rider in a program & on a budget. His mild stringhalt (a nerve disorder displaying as a gait abnormality with no associated pain) is easily managed & vet records are available to serious parties. Though plenty of horses compete at the highest levels with stringhalt, priority will be given to a thoughtful home with tailored management & an emphasis on fitness. He’d love a place with ample turnout and would be great for an eager kid that likes to ride a lot.
